Who the hell cares!!!! Everyone is entitled to their own damn opinion! I'm tired of Kobe fans dissing on MJ, and vice versa, and same with Kobe and Wade fans. I don't care if they're not your favorite player, but they don't suck. Get that through your thick heads. ANY NBA player can wipe the floor with you in a basketball game, okay? Must've done something right to make it into the NBA.

People who say Wade can't play defense are stupid. He's one of few players to average more than 1 steal and 1 block per game in the regular season, and would've done the same in the playoffs if not for the injury. In addition, it doesn't really matter that he can't shoot the 3-pointer because he gets just as many points shooting more free throws.

Kobe if a prolific scorer, no doubt. He's one of the best (if not the best). He doesn't always play good defense though, since he mainly focuses on being an offensive force. However, he can, and that is why he was voted onto the 2006-2007 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

No one can deny MJ's legacy. Just search the web and you'll find out how many awards and championships he's won. Furthermore, he had incredible clutch performance. Those who say that MJ couldn't have done it without Pippen (who I also greatly respect), just remember that Pippen was the sidekick, not the other way around.

I usually give the credit where its due and I don't talk crap about other players

The best player in the NBA in my opinion is Kobe Bryant

The most explosive scorer in the NBA...81 points! Second greatest single game scoring performance in NBA history

Dude is just exciting to watch!

he makes athletic plays..his footwork is impeccable

he never gives up and always puts up a fight till the end on both end of the court

his scoring streaks are amazing to watch!

if there is any player in the league that requires a triple team 27-30 feet from the basket without the ball on an offensive possession, it would be Kobe Bryant...dude is that explosive and that good

wanna talk about defense?

Kobe absolutely smothered barbosa against Brazil a few nights ago

Barbosa was the leading scorer in the tournament and Kobe held him to 3 points when he was guarding him...WOW

Kobe also put up 20 points himself...impressive.

MJ's legacy? You mean being the most over-hyped player in history?

1985: 38-44, lost in 1st round of playoffs
1986: 30-52, swept in 1st round of playoffs
1987: 40-42, swept in 1st round of playoffs
2002: 37-45 missed playoffs
2003: 37-45 missed playoffs

That's MJ's legacy without Pippen. You can also find this on the web. But he did sell lots of shoes while he was losing.....lol

And I've already proven that many of his "awards" were not earned, but GIVEN to him based on his popularity. And it was THE BULLS as a team, that won those championships, not just Jordan. Keep in mind, Chicago only dropped 2 games after Jordan retired.

You can call Pippen whatever you want, but without him, Jordan's just a "bald-headed Dominique" (great player, but can't win, for those of you who don't know).

Greatest player of all time: Larry Bird

Yes. The NBA store in New York before it closed used to have appearances by former players. I met Doc Rivers and John Starks there.

kobe's the best player in the whole NBA. he dropped 80 in a league where noone seems to score what he had in 4 straight games; 50. hes not the best defender, but hes right up there top 10. and getting better. and he took the lakers to the playoffs like every year but 04 and has three rings.

im not hating on micheal, but kobe is just plain better

hes my favorite, but i kno a lot of people that hate him adn are man enough to admit hes still the best

It's MJ (Michael Jordan). Like he is the Wayne Gretzky of basketball. He has done it all and then some. Some of his records will stand forever (not like baseball's 714 home runs, 56 game hitting streak, and 60 homers in a season).
