Have you applied for a job through them?? I would say that since they are using a uk yahoo email address other than one linked to a company website - it is probably some sort of scam. Don't give them any details such as bank accounts, home address, telephone number until you find out a bit more!

419 SCAM ..

Most likely this is the Cheque Cashing scam ... they 'appoint' you to bank foreign cheques & send the money on by 'wire transfer' ..

At first all seems OK because money is credditted to your account .. so you 'send it on' .. weeks (or months) later your bank is told the cheque is fake (by their mates working for the Nigerian bank) .. so your bank takes the money back out of your account .. but you already sent it on .. so you end up with a massive overdraft and they are laughing themselves silly ..

Of course they have all your details so the next step is to steal your Identity (most lilkley they will sell your details to criminals in Russia) .. before you know it Bailifs are turning up on your doorstep demanding your pay thousands on Credit Cards and Mobile Phone bills ...

Honestly, why are people so stupid they think they have been 'selected' for a job WHEN THEY NEVER EVEN APPLIED ???? (I bet the same peole think they can 'win' a Lottery without even buying a ticket)
