I remember I read a short story a few years ago that was possibly by Ray Bradbury, but I can't remember the name. It was set around a group of people that escaped earth to live on Mars because of nuclear war, but once they began living on Mars the planet began to change them. I remember the people began to look different, with tanner skin and weird eyes. And once some more people flew in from earth, they didn't recognize the original "colony" and thought they were Martians instead of humans. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.

Sounds like it may be "Dark they were, and golden-eyed", a Bradbury story included in some editions of the Martian Chronicles:

"Harry Bittering and his family travel to Mars in order to escape the war that is raging on Earth. Soon comes the news that nuclear weapons have been launched at New York and there will be no further space flights until the war is over. In the meantime, the Bittering family has been noticing strange changes throughout their home, and Harry decides he will build a rocket. He is ridiculed by his friends, and soon his passion for the rocket dies down. Slowly though, the humans have started changing too, and they all become Martians. "

Sounds like something from his book "The Martian Chronicles". It's a series of short stories about Mars.

Perhaps this was "Dark They Were, And Golden Eyed," a story from the Martian Chronicles. I remember having read this years ago, but I don't have the story itself to hand to confirm. It seems to fit the description though.
