my pregnant cat has a red pulpy "thing" coming out. however it's no bigger than the size of a dime. i lightly cleaned it off with a tissue and it came off as blood. so we allowed her to pick her spot. she's there taking just lying down. how long is it before the first kitten fully comes out. i expected her to be standing "pushing" more aggitated than she is now.....what do should i expect next?

She should start delivering kittens soon. She probably just wants you to sit and talk to her. My cat did. They have their own schedule and know what to do.

She could be ready to have babies... I suggest a box with towels in it, so she can well, get done what needs to be done. And set the box in a closet, or a room where nobody goes into for privacy. People standing around watching might stress her out a bit. Hope this helps.
