Does anyone know how to check the CDI on a Honda ATV?

It's a 1988 TRX 300 4X4

Find the red wire that plugs into it use a ohms meter it should be less than 4 ohms.

CDI Ignitions either work or they don't. The most of them take special equipment to check...see if your local Honda dealer can do it for you...the earlier ones were notorious for failing...
