I think just as many celebrities as other couples get divorced, you just notice it more b/c they are famous and their divorces are widely publicized... If there is actually a statistical difference, then it's prob b/c there relationship is strained by always being under the spotlight, or b/c some celebrities have too many obsessive fans...

Celebrities tend to divorce often and usually quickly because of sheer selfishness.

in their careers, they have had their own way; they are surrounded by hordes of subservient people who jump to their every wish.

Then, they get married and find their spouse does not jump, what's worse he/she wants his/her own way! How about that!

It takes 2 to make a marriage work; it takes the ability to give as well as take, to obey as well as command. In a marriage you get a life partner, not a servant or employee.

Only those celebrities who have some degree of unselfishness and are decent generous and loving types end up with good marriages. The young, selfish, egoistic and proud ones break up quickly.

The real question here is why do they get married again so fast? Hollywood is a fast paced life, and the marriages and divorces reflect that. These people know that time is of the essence, and they waste none.
