Clint Eastwood is a white, American actor and director; he's a man of many talents. He starred in alot of Westerns (several filmed overseas and referred to as "Spaghetti Westerns") like the "Good, Bad, and the Ugly". He starred in several films as "Dirty Harry" a hard, tough cop whose most well known line was, "Go ahead, make my day." At times, he wasn't very respected as an actor, like when he did the "Everywhich Way But Loose" films. But with time and maturity, he has come to enjoy alot of respect in the film industry. He still acts and directs. One of his best projects was film "The Unforgiveness". He is about 70 now.

thats it. the end of the world is near. how is it when i was growing up i couldnt get enough of crap from years before me, pink floyd, merl haggard, old twilight zones, land of the giants, the original hulk, dragnet, dick van dtke, lucy, old warhol crap art movies, anything b&w, anything on oldies and classic rock stations, i really feel my generation (Im 25) has a decent grasp on all things american culture from a wide spread of age groups. Then i hear these kids today, who was john lennon, who is clint eastwood, and i dont even like westerns or him that much but damn. Hopefully you are kidding. If not, thanks for causing my depression to slip one level deeper.

A great actor, probably, in his late seventies, now.

He was in Dirty Harry movies, back in the 70's. Mr. Eastwood was in" Bridges of Madison County", with Meryl Streep and, in one of my favorites, "Million Dollar Baby. Both movies, were directed, by Mr Eastwood.
He was in alot of westerns, too. One of his famous one-liners, (I think) is "Go ahead, make my day."
