Jerry: See the part where I asked how many marriages are going to be invalidated now that Iowa allows same-sex marriage? That's what is commonly referred to, at least in THIS country, as a "question." Hope that helped.

Ah, I see. So you don't like a question's content, and that makes it not a question. Nice to know you make the rules of the English language. What are your credentials, exactly? (That was a question, too, by the way.)

What an ignorant question. Seriously. NO ONE loves abortion, NO ONE loves pedophiles.
Would you PLEASE take a breath, then go back and read what you just wrote? If you aren't embarrassed by it, you're not human.
Just stop it, okay? Seriously.
Good Evening, I LOVED your response to my question earlier, so much so I gave you ten points. AND posted it here too. YOU ROCK!!!!!
To answer your question, NONE are going to be "invalidated", but the question that we need to ask is how do we define marriage. I have posted questions about this before.
May I ask you this: 50 years ago, what would our society thought of gay marriage? So the stuff that "some" consider gross by today's standards MAY not be so in the future. Do we just say "marriage is whatever you guys say it is"?
Do we let the citizens decide, or some judges?

Iowa is now allowing same sex marriage? I know there's been court action regarding this but it's settled? Wow, and I thought I kept up with things. I did a search but nothing came up, do you have a link to this story? Thanks.
EDIT: Thank you "an_independent." I accessed the link and am stunned right now. I think it's great, but it's got some appeals and higher courts to go through before it's complete.

Allowing same sex marriages invalidates marriages? Isn't that a bit contradicting.

Why would they be invalidated. Sounds to me like they are going to be validated. Good deal. It is not the government's business who one wishes to marry.

Is there a question hidden in here somewhere or are you simply making a condescending statement?
Edit:
No, that is not a question. However, it is an excellent example of stupidity.
No, your attempt at a question is still inane since you don't explain how legalizing same-sex marriages will invalidate (or have any bearing on) existing marriages. I stand behind my initial observation that you did not post a question, just some abject nonsense with a question mark at the end of the sentence.

If this is the case? Hopefully, ministers and and Justice of the Peace will combine in a joint effort and not participate.

Only the radical Marxist gay activists are concerned with legalizing gay marriage.
