"Based on what you know about the chemistry of biological molecules, why do you think high fevers are so dangerous for humans and other animals?"
I'm not tryin got cheat, i've looked through the entire chapter so many times but i cant find anything even relating to this question. please help!!

One of the main problems is that high temperatures denature proteins. Then the proteins cannot perform their usual functions. This is especially damaging when enzymes are denatured. You realize that the cells need enzymes to regulate most of their reactions.

i think its bcuz once your body gets to a certain temperature, it litealy starts to cook and your blood starts to boil and thicken, so you could die, thats why when you get a fever of about 104 that means that you should go to the doctor, or lay in a tub filled with cold water, and i don't meen lukewarm water but cold water, to cool your body down....hope i helped
