Fiberglass is a composite material similar to paper machie or those handicrafts made from glue and paper. The paper are cut into small pieces and bound by the glue in a mold to shape the finished product. Fiberglass on the other hand made of glass fibers from a "cotton candy" type method. These fibers are shaped by laminating it with resin just like the glue of paper machie method.

By shaping the fibers on to a boat mold, as soon as the resin dries out then you can pull out your fiberglass boat.
