Anything from the Big Band Era...i.e. Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman. Those were the Big Three then. But any Big Band music would be perfect.

Here's a list that just barely skims the surface:
Moonlight Serenade--Glenn Miller Orchestra
American Patrol--Glenn Miller with, I think, the Crew Chiefs (his band after he went into the Army Air Force)
Rum and Coca Cola--the Andrews Sisters
Lili Marlene--Marlene Dietrich did a version in the original German, but there were also renditions in English
Let's Remember Pearl Harbor--Kay Kyser
Der Fuhrer's Face--a comedic novelty song by Spike Jones
Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition--I think this was also by Kay Kyser

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B
I'll Be Seeing You
I'll Be Home for Christmas
Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree With Anyone Else But Me
That's all that springs to mind immediately.

The Marines hymn. Has to be or Taps the men who served will tell you that those songs are some of the most revered among the men who were involved in that conflict. I can think of no better.
