what do i need to do to get into princeton? like what kind of gpa, extra curicular activities, honors class (etc.) do i need to get into the college? for those of you in princeton U, what did u have to do to get into princeotn?

To get into a school like Princeton, you need an unweighted GPA near 4.0 with a weighted average above 4.0. You need to take as many honors classes and AP classes as possible. You need 2200+ on your SATs. You need to be active in a number of diverse activities.

Most importantly, you need to be able to express yourself clearly. Without a killer essay, you have no chance.

And, of course, you need to be willing to live in New Jersey.

Contrary to what Britta says, you need not be wealthy to go to an Ivy League school.

It's not easy getting accepted into an Ivy League school.

Most of the people who are accepted into prestigious schools, such as Princeton, usually originate from wealthy families.

Knowledge is extremely important to a lot of these schools as well, because they want for the brightest of the bright. They will not just accept anyone.

If you're still in high school, then I would suggest enrolling yourself into AP classes and getting involved with community service.

Keep in mind that these schools are not what you may envision them to be. Many movies glamourize these schools, and they do not show the realistic hard work that is needed to just get into these schools (let alone graduate).

1) Learn good grammer. If you can't practice on Yahoo Answers, then there's a good chance you can't do it in life.

2) Come from a wealthy (preferably an 'old money' family).

3) Have a GPA of 3.8

4) Be involved in community service, student counsil, clubs, etc.

5) You have to be in AP & Honors classes.

Most people who attend Princeton University come from extremely diverse and intelligent families. If you're too lazy to spell 'you' and other words correctly, then you'll look like a joke to Princeton, just as you do to us.
