ok, i really like this guy, but hes 19, and im 14. so obviously we cant go out. he comes to my house all the time though cuz we have a skateboard ramp and halfpipe in our backyard and hes a skater. hes really sweet and respectful but the other day we were sitting on the bench outside of my house and we were talking. then there was that awkward silence and at the same time, we just turned to each other and kissed. after that we kinda held hands for a while. then he said "i gotta go" and he went home. i feel really weird about it and i havnt told anyone. has this ever happened to anyone else and is there any way i can get over this weird feeling i have about it?

I think he did the smart thing by leaving because it could have turned into something that u both would have regreted because after all he is 19 and your 14( can u say jailbait)

He shouldn't have allowed the kiss to happen and he really should find another place to skateboard

Sweetie he's 19 and your 14 he could get into a lot of trouble with your parents and the law

So he did a very very wise thing by leaving.

He knew he was wrong and he knew that he could end up in jail or the hospital if your dad finds out which is why he headed home.

I hope this never happens again, if u should see him again just keep walking and realize this sweetie

No matter how cute or nice he is 19 year old guys can get into trouble messing around with 14 year old girls. It would have been a different story if u were 18, but Ur 14 and thats just too young

I sorry if I sound hard on you but u need to know this before trouble happens.

Good Luck

No that has never happened in all of time. It happens and you are thinking too much. He seems like a good guy, You should enjoy what happened, and don't worry about that weird feeling, your going to get that same feeling as you get older and more serious about guys. You could talk about what happened with him, but he probably would get feeling weird that you are feeling weird. Just enjoy having a friend who comes over to skate and you can talk to.

its never happened to me and i dont really think its slutty, but seriously, i dont think its a good idea for 14 year olds and 19 year olds to get involved like that. not that i know either of you, but just in general, theres just a HUGE difference between 14 and 19. i had a friend get into that and it didnt turn out very well. i think you would be getting in way over your head. even friendships can be tough with that age difference. people just grow up and change so much around then. its possible but sometimes its just way too complicated.

I know you like him but this behavior is not right. Not only are you too young for him, it's illegal. This can only lead to problems for both of you (and possibly jail for him) if you let it go any farther. I know it hurts and seems like it's not fair right now but you have to stay away from him. At least for now, when you hit 17 or 18 if he's still around then get involved with him. Until then you have to let him go, it's not a good situation for either of you. And no, it's not slutty, but it's also not ok.

that weirdness will go away after a while. i had the same feeling when i first started going out. right now, it will be awkward. i mean, u guys just randomly kissed. he probably felt weird so he said he had to go. it doesn't mean things wont expand. but, he is 19. i suggest, for a relationship, find someone closer to your age. i guess i cant really tell u who to love, but its just an idea. i dont think its sluttly though

#1 it is not slutty- why would it be? This is going to sound insane but my mom set me up with a 18 year old when I was 14 and he turned 19 before I turned 15- she said it was only 5 years difference which is true. We had a 1 yr. relationship but broke up later on- he met another girl closer to his age, I guess more grown up. Just make sure if you do hook up not to have sex with him-no matter if you agree to it he can get put in jail-anyone can report him and there goes his life. Just be careful on whatever choice you make.

I've been in a situation like that before, only the guy was only 3 years older than me. We were kind of awkward with each other for a while, but then we decided that it was okay that we liked each other , but we shouldn't go out. so we saw other people. it's okay if you guyz like each other, and if seeing other people doesn't work, then you should just go out with him, if youre sure going out with him would be worth the age difference. the best of luck to the both of you!!!

no its not slutty at all. theres obviously a mutual attraction there so you did nothing wrong. its happened to lots of ppl so no worries. i would say wait a couple days 4 things to cool down. give you and him time to think. the fact that he said he had to go shows he was just as freaked. try hanging out with him after a few days. c where it goes from there. act normal and be cool! good luck!

wat your feeling is that you really like him its really weird if you dont wanna tell anyone talk to him about it. actually the age diff isnt that bad. its just 19 and 14 now in a few years it will be 20 and 25 and u guys can date and if you truly like him nothing is stopping you but you gotta make sure he likes you back then youll have a broken heart best of luck

You probably don't want to hear it but 14 and 19 is quite an age gap. Sometimes girls are more mature than guys but still most parents aren't keen for it.
