They have never failed to qualify for the World Cup (only nation to play in all 18).

Never, but as you can see, their qualifying process isn't so exacting. 4 teams from 10 nations (maybe 12) qualify directly, and there is a place off for the 5th place team.
Argentina is their only main hurdle. They can even afford a slip up against another team. There is usually another promising team every 5 years or so, eg: Chile, Paraguay, Colombia, Uruguay and recently, Ecuador.
Failure to overcome that team would still leave Brazil in 3rd place. So it is no problem really. And with Brazil being Brazil, you would never expect them to falter so many times until a situation arises, where their qualification is in real danger.

BRAZIL have never miss any FIFA World Cup finals, in fact they are the only team to have played in all previous FIFA World Cup, 18 in total, winning it 5 times in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 & 2002.

Agreed - they will not miss out in the foreseeable future.
In the longer term things change - for example:
Uruguay winners 1930 and 1950
Hungary runners-up 1938 and 1954

they didn't qualify for the 1942 or 1946 world cups
but neither did anyone else because of World War 2 :-P
