As it is a story and not an essay, you could make it anything. You could go from the point of a flying instructor that was asked to give them lessons but only wanted to know how to fly and not land.
You could go from the point of an atheist in hell (if I had known I wouldn't be here)
You could go from the point of Roosevelt who sent "the voyage of the damned" away - eventually to death in the gas chambers.
