Why is there so much BEAUTY in RARITY?

We become jaded to the commonplace, even though there is much beauty in it. We overlook the myriad "commonplace" beauties we see everywhere.
It takes a special vision to truly look, and to perceive the beauty in the ordinary, the "ugly" the tainted. That, itself, is beautiful :-))
Some beautiful things I've seen lately...the curve of a hand...sunlight on the dew on a spiderweb...
the lovely, bejeweled, lizard-like eyes of a cat...long chains of headlights in the early dawn coming down a hill and around a curve on the freeway...ripples on water dripping into a sink...

Rarity in beauty, as in humans because that person must reflect the beauty from within-outward. Not too many humans do so, and there are many beautiful people.
As in Earth, because we find that which is a beautiful and place a value on it. Because it is rare, as in diamonds, certain woods, emeralds, flowers, - supply and demand.
But I found something that was a total surprise as I was hiking in Utah one year. there was this perfectly round rock, rough however, but unbelievably round. I brought it back home with me, the kids for our collection. As I was getting it out of the car...it is pretty large, about 8 inches diameter, I dropped it!.....my round rock broke into. I picked up the rock. and the most beautiful sight hit all our eyes, crystals, large ones, small ones, crystals clear!. The rock was already a rarity and beautiful to us, but now it held even a rarer value, it is certainly a symbol that beauty is within or "never judge a book by its cover". By the way, each of us has a part of the rock in their homes today. It broke 4 ways. Wonder if there is a sign in that!!

Because you are looking at something that very few people have seen - let alone known that it existed. Moments like this may only come once or twice in an entire LIFETIME - and the memory if it will last just as long...
Imagine being the first - and possibly only - person to see a rare item of beauty. Someone (or something) created this unique thing - and never tried to make another as perfection had already been obtained :):):)

What can be rare and Beautiful, at the same time? My answer is this, A baby's eyes so trusting and Pure not knowing there is so much evil in the World, also her sweet smile when she looks at you, with some much Love, for her to give you. may I add what I also perceive as Rare and Beautiful, seeing an old Couple of 80 years young, looking into each other's eyes, with so much Love for each other, is also Rare and Beautiful. There's beauty in the whole universe and everything in it - and most of all, I think, in living things, every species of which is a rare and unlikely event amongst the accidents of physical creation and evolution.

wow i can really answer this because i am rare , but people don't find me beautiful!!!trust me , and its because no one really takes the time to look at girls who are rare enough to even know that they are really beautiful and even if they did and they dont give them a chance and whats the point of saying that they are rare and beautiful!!!

The most beautiful site I've ever seen is the Grand Canyon. It's vastness and glorious beauty was majestic. I was transformed to a higher level in its presence.
