I was comparing people and on one question, it said "Voting is anonymous" or something like that and then on this next question (Who is more cuddly), there was a checked box that said "Ok to tell winner how you voted."

Does that mean its anonymous or what? Does the anonymity depend on the question or does that checked box mean something else other than tell the person you voted for them?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that if the person you voted for doesn't have the application, it's automatically anonymous. If they do, then you have the option of making it anonymous by unchecking the box.

I didn't discover this until I'd been playing around with it for a while, so I know how awkward it is to realize that the people you've just compared might be notified of the results. I hate that they automatically check it. :3

I used this software for three hours or so before I realized that it was automatically notifying people. It seems to notify automatically only for less sensitive questions, so "who would you rather kiss" and "who are you jealous of" are not auto-notify questions. However, if the person is listed as your significant other, they *are* notified about even sensitive questions. My husbands profile wall now says that I would rather kiss him.

To add to the scary privacy issues with this application I just received an offer from Compare People to purchase a "premium" membership, which would allow me to see who are my *real* friend, who I should date, etc.

I am uninstalling ASAP even though it was a fun application. I've copied the text for the premium membership into the source info.
