lol...no. Kind of defeats the purpose to me...I wear sandals so I don't have to wear socks..lol

It's funny you posted this I was thinking about posting the same question except I also wanted to add an age factor to it. My theory is that people under 30 generally don't wear socks with sandals. You could see a 20 year old wearing flip flops in winter with no socks but not someone older.
Last year and I am over 30 I did start wearing socks with Birkenstock style sandals in the fall so I could still have that airy feel w/o being cold. 2 years ago I thought this was totally nerdy and old peoplish but now I'd do it and not care.

Whatever you may have seen, sandals and athletic/fancy socks is still a fashion no-no! The only time I have ever seen anyone wear sandals and socks is after going to the gym, and just taking off their sneakers and putting on the athletic sandals.

Yeah sometimes if I actually wear sandals. I wear socks with crocs too which I didn't know is considered as bad as socks and sandals.

hell no.. I cant stand it when people do that. Whats the point in wearing sandals if ur gonna wear socks with them.

Never...I'm from RI and when you go to the beach there are atleast 20 guys with kneehigh black socks, sandals, chewbacca chest hair, and obscene gold chains...But it all starts with the socks and sandals.

Only if I have on so really funky sock that are just too cute to be hidden by a full shoe! Like toe sock and things of that sort cause they are no fun if people can't see them

NO NO NO. That is soooooooo dorky looking. But you know what? I'm guilty of doing that a few times. Shame on me. I was taking the dog to go potty outside and I couldn't find my tennis shoes and it was raining so I had to do what I had to do. It was thong sandals too. I looked horrible but my feet were warm. LOL

i like to wear knee high socks with open toed sandals, what really makes this look so great is my gold spandex pants and red bra top, i have been stopped by strangers with them asking me if they take pictures of me and what not....it really is the sexy look everyone should do it..oh and what really is the eye grabber of this onsomble is my hot pink head band ...i cant describe this i will have to give a link so you can view it
