Do you have a cell phone? If not maybe you should suggest if your mom is so concerned about everything you are doing she should get you one. If you already have a cell phone tell her that one of the reasons you have it is for emergencies or for her to check in on you. She may seem annoying but really she's just concerned and worried about you. You ARE still only 13 and it's really hard a lot of times for parents to realize their kids are growing up and becoming teenagers. I would say, for now, if anything just try to ignore it, answer her questions without attitude or showing annoyance and maybe one day soon she'll stop because she trusts you. If she's still doing it by the time you are 16 though I would say you should have a little chat with her about not starting to let go.

Damn you are lucky you are not my kid. Your Mom is doing exactly what a Mom is supposed to be doing. Annoying. Oh well. Get used to it. Do you think it would be better if she just didn't give a rats a $$ about where you were, who you were with and what time you came home? What happens when some pervert snatches your little 13 year old butt off of the street because in his eyes you are still a baby and that's what he is looking for and then he rapes you and keeps you locked up somewhere for him to play with when he wants. What if your Mom didn't care that you missed your curfew. Then nobody would know that you were actually gone would they.

Ok here is what you do... Do just what Ka KA Ka Katie says to do "Tell her ok i heard you the first 200 times" and then bend over and pick your teeth up off the ground and go about your business. Sorry if that's harsh but I don't get you CHILDREN. First of all you are NOT grown. You are 13!! You can't work, vote, and you don't even have to pay taxes and if you talked to your mom the way you wanted to and she knocked you for a loop that would still be considered CHILD abuse so you are not grown. Here is a concept for you. Try to listen and not just take everything for granted. It would be much better to have a mother that asks and cares than have some smoked out drunk mother sittin around not caring what you do. Be grateful she cares about you and even moreso, be grateful you even have a mother!!!!!!!

Well, your mom is just reminding you of stuff like, don't go out past your curfew, and other things. Mom's went throught the same things you did and just don't want you to make the same mistakes they they did by staying out past curfew and dating the guys who go out and drink under age or something like that. She's just trying to protect you, so once in a while let her say fully what she wants to say, you don't have to pay attention but I do, and when she's finished just say thanks mom. Because she's just trying to protect you. But every other time when you want to just shut her up, don't say this in a mean way, but say, "Mom, no offense or anything, but I kinda just want to experience things on my own. I don't mind you helping me but I don't want everything to be spelled out for me, making mistakes is the only way I'll learn. Plus if I do everything you say what stories will I have to tell my kids. But thanks anyway, your the best, bye" Hope this helps!

You never tell your mom to shut up! Whether your 13 or 31 or 113. It's RUDE so don't do it. As a matter of fact, I don't tell ANYONE to shut up! There are other ways to express yourself. For a 13 year old who is not a "baby" you certainly do sound immature. You should feel lucky to be able to go out at that age.

Your still pretty young. You live under her roof, and she does make the rules, so it might be nice to tell her.
I'm 22 and she still asks me where I'm going.
Nothing good happens after curfew. Trust me. Your mom WILL find out if you lie. Maybe not all the time, but one time she will, and it wont be good.
Just bare with her, she's just being a parent. Be happy that she's there to care for you. If she wasn't... you'd be 16, homeless and pregnant with your second child.
And believe it or not, she's doing it because she LOVES you, so tell her u love her sometimes. At my age, I wish I said it more when I was a teenager.

How about this: act more adult if you want to be treated like one. Even adults usually let their family know their plans when they go out, so that people aren't left wondering how many to expect for dinner, or whether they should worry that someone's not home yet and that sort of thing.
Instead of making your mother pry the information out of you, just volunteer it. As you're getting ready to go out, say, "I'm going to the mall with this friend and that friend and I'll be back around 5. Need me to pick up anything for you?" How hard is that? You won't feel like you're being grilled, and your mom will feel like you're being mature and helpful, and it'll all be nice.

I'm 13. I'm glad my mom asks me! She just cares,
My sister volunteers with abused children.. This 13 year old was walking home it was only like 5:30 and she got kidnapped and was forced to do sexual acts!
Seriously! You live at home. She has the right to know. You' would be very regretful, if something happened, and your mom didn't know where you were and who you were with.
To me you just sound like a brat.

There is never a polite way to tell your mom to shut up. She is your mom and she is concerned about you and has the right to know. You are her beloved child and her responsibility. Sounds like you have a really good mom. Please listen to her as some moms just don't care.

If you were my 13 year old, you wouldn't even dare to think that way, not if you are not willing to go to the dentist and get yourself a new set of grills. The reason why you even had the nerve to put this in here is because the first time you got fresh with her, she didn't kick your butt. It's not your fault that you are so disrespectful. It's her fault for not f**#@ng you up the first time you got fresh with her.
