yeah get two stalks of celery put both in separate glasses in one glass mix some red food coloring in water..the other glass just add water...take a paper towel and make a bridge make sure it goes into the water in both glasses..what you are trying to see is how long it takes for the one with the food coloring to suck it into the stalk..and if they other one can from the paper towel..make sure to trim the stalks before you put them in the water

in case you may get your palms on a voltage meter (your dad could have one there incredibly lots ion each adult men device equipment) you may take a 9 volt battery (between the sq. ones) wrap some twine around the terminals ,ultimate to apply small guage electric powered twine like from an old broken radio or soemthing, then get a sheet of paper and draw a line approximately 4 to 6 inches long on it with a pencil , draw it on VERY heavy like as much as you may without reducing in the process the paper and dont make it way *** extensive the two not greater then 1 / 4 inch extensive ,tape the receptors of the vu meter to the pencil line then touch the battery wires to the different end of the pencil line, the voltage meter will show that the electrical energy will carry in the process the pencil lead (truthfully carbon it particularly is conductive) in case you will stumble on a flashlight you dont concepts destroying you may get the bulb assembly (bulb and wires) out of it and tape the wires to the pencil line rather of the voltage meter so as that once you hook up the battery the bulb will swap on. stable luck!!

It's neat, my Nephew won first place
in the Science Fair.
I made a Rubber Wishbone the same
way. I could tie it in a knot. :-)
