I find it very funny that cons actually think this is still about victory in Iraq and defeat if we pull out. It's very obvious that some people still don't know how to define victory and still insist on it whatever IT is. They are completely clueless to the fact that we lost the war and the country of Iraq to the tribalism that exists there the moment we invaded it. They still think Viet Nam was winnable and that Iraq is also 'winnable'. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so damn frightful the ignorance that exists.

You have to consider that the United States, supposedly the most powerful nation on Earth, can't even secure a road from Baghdad international airport into the centre of the city, AFTER MORE THAN 4 YEARS.

Incompetence at it's finest

I cannot possibly answer this question in detail and try to convince you that this is not a war in which we can recount history for our guide - this war against this ideology of hatred and domination is new ground. There are no battle fronts, no army, no specific country, no strategic targets.
You have apparently fallen into the group that thinks defeat is an acceptable policy, or, perhaps you think the United States can terror-proof itself - isolationism, maybe? Both of these ideas are short sighted and riddled with serious consequences.
