Hello Nelly,
We, in England do nut have 'Dollars as our monetary unit' the money is in Pounds and Pence. there are 100 Pence in £1.oo...Now I need to know what do your numbers represent, are they American Dollars, if so then that number of yours should read....
$125,258.58...
which would be written as thus-: One Hundred and Twenty Five Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Eight Dollars and Fifty Eight cents.. If you then devide this number by 2.. you swill reach an approximate value in English Pounds and Pence.
My Failing here is I am not sure what a Pro-forma invoice is, Oh I know what pro forma means. but not in its relation to an invoice. I hope I have helped you Nelly...Bye Tony M...

The English currency is called Pounds Sterling, and the International Currency Code is GBP. 1 pound consists of 100 pence.

The Amount you have specified is read as One Hundred and Twenty Five Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Eight Pounds and Fifty One Pence.

There is no such thing as English dollars. Brits either cling to their pounds or use Euros. However, in North America, they do use dollars, and that amount would be read as;
One hundred twenty five thousand, two hundred fifty eight dollars and fifty one cents.
Is that what you wanted or did you mean to convert that number of dollars into English currency?

If it is not a foreign currency, I would say, one hundred, twenty-five thousand, two hundred, fifty-eight dollars and fifty-one cents ($125,258.51). You must use hyphens and commas to separate accordingly. You stated it was in "English dollars", however in the UK the currency is in pounds sterling. You may have meant U.S. Dollars.

If you're wanting to know how to say it in "dollar speak" (i.e. $500=Five hundred dollars) then it would be

One hundred twenty five thousand two hundred fifty eight dollars and fifty one cents

Where I'm from, we'd say it as

A hunnerd n twenty five thousand two hunnerd n fifty eight dollars n fifty one cents

Of course the first way is the correct pronunciation.
