it really depends on you, on your diet and the fluid you intake plus the vitamins. on my early stage during my pregnancy i only gain about 2lbs. a month but as months pass by i gain 3kilos every month and so the doctor request me to diet. pregnants really love to eat but be careful on the food you eat for you and your baby's health.

First trimester weight gain isnt usually much. 3-5 pds give or take. After the first trimester is when most women will gain a pound a week. If you are underweight your dr might recommend you gain more, overweight less, maybe 1/2 pd or less a week. Some women are sick during the first trimester and actually lose weight. The most weight is gained in months 4-9 so if you gain a little or none at all in first trimester it is all normal.

I gained 0, actually lost weight from being sick 24-7. But you should gain very little in the first 12 weeks, the baby is only a few oz by the end of the first trimester anyway!!!

I only gained 2lbs during the first part of my pregnancy. I'm now almost 24 weeks ,and i've gained 10lbs. Doc said i'm right on track. But i don't think your suppose to gain a whole lot of weight during the first trimester. Most of your weight gain comes at the end of your pregnancy.

I just started my second trimester and I gained 3lbs, It depends on your wieght before you got pregnant, if your average you gain a total of 25-35lbs most of which you gain in the third trimester. if you are overwieght they tell you to gain 15 lbs. underweight more than 35.

Just all depends. I gained about 7lbs my first trimester. Just make sure all weight gain is gradual. Probably about 1lb a week. Some weeks you'll gain a lb, some weeks you won't, some you'll gain 2. But as long as you keep it under control it shouldn't be a problem.

So far I've gained about 25lbs, I was 97lbs before pregnancy.

I gained 12 but it all depends on your body and how healthy you eat. it's recommended to gain about 30 lbs during the entire pregnancy. I'd say about 10 lbs per trimester.

I did not gain any weight until I was 5 months in my second trimester but everyone is different. You cant really base what your weight gain should be by someone elses. Congrats
