Try to be more confident and find YOU ARE HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF! Loving and accepting ourselves is THE MOST CRITICAL FACTOR in experiencing joy, happiness, and success in life. When you really love yourself and you really love other people, you find that life is really an incredible journey where things flow, and no matter what happens you always find a way to enjoy yourself and you feel fulfilled. You MUST love yourself completely.
This determines your STANDARDS for what you are willing to accept or settle for. It determines how well you treat your body and your health, how much money you feel you deserve to earn or feel you can make, your belief in whether you can achieve your goals, how much others RESPECT you and how they treat you, and even whether people like you and want to be around you. People love being around confident people. You see, confident people do not feel the need to judge you or tear you down in order to elevate their own self-worth. They radiate a positive energy. You feel safe around them. You need to consistently and confidently take action to move towards your goals, and towards your ultimate destiny. People who lack in confidence often get ‘stuck’. So you see, your entire DESTINY is shaped by your degree of confidence. True self-confidence comes from an absolute sense of certainty deep within, that you are able to handle anything life throws your way. Truly confident people exude calm, control, power, certainty. They care about people, and they make people feel good when they are around them. They never brag – after all, actions speak louder than words. People who brag are just masking their insecurities. People have varying degrees of confidence depending on what activity they are performing. For example, someone might be totally confident in performing a piano concert, or driving a car, but feel totally inadequate at a new job they’ve started, or at flirting with members of the opposite sex. People with Total Self-Confidence, though, have complete belief in themselves. They never ask themselves “Can I really do this? What if this doesn’t work out? Am I good enough to pull it off?” They know that if they really want something, and they are committed to getting it, it will happen. They know that it’s just a question of time until they’ve mastered the skills and knowledge to make whatever they want a reality.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

We all go on simply because we believe tomorrow will be better than today or yesterday. We are born with hope.
We will have a better paying job, we will meet the love of our lives, we will have beautiful children, we will travel, we will make great memories. One word...HOPE.

The purpose of life..? For me it is to complete my destiny...what compells me, what makes me happy. Also, to share my life and love with the people I care for.

For whatever reason, we are all right where we are supposed to be. As shitty as that place might be, I have to believe it is serving a purpose that will one day be understood.

Personally, I have been in the depths of my own personal hell for YEARS and thought I would never come out. Thought why the hell would I ever continue on? I suppose the only reason I am alive is 1 for my Grammy and 2 b/c I was chicken ****.

I thank God everyday for making me a chicken **** with an amazing Grandmother.

there are higher forms of circumstance.

as humans we exist in the lowest level- where our highest aspiration could only come in the form of just having a personality and to fully do that as far as a meditation that is a complete and actual concept, rather than just a term.

there are then facts of life regarding an observable reality and the highest state would be a truth- a type of setup for a reality that has ties to every possible ounce of experience.

it's expected for every life form to know what it's like to be not only god but something very very much beyond that and to live as that thing for a considerably more substantial measure.

To experience new things. To meet people to care about. To try to find miracles.

I suggest you take a vacation to some peaceful place where you can contemplate your life. Why exactly do you see no purpose? What can you change so that you can find a purpose?

Good luck, hope you find your answer soon!

You should keep on living because whether you realize it or not, you're loved by someone. You've made a difference in someone's life, even if it was just by your mere prescence. This is true for everyone. Nobody truly knows what kind of difference they made.

"As one person, you might not be able to make a difference in the world, but you can make a world of a difference to one person."

It's truly a beautiful quote, but so often, we don't realize how true it actually is.

Please don't end your life, because when our son committed suicide, I started thinking that their was no purpose in life. I've been through many tough times in my life. During a tough time period, I sometimes don't see a solution to my problem[s]...but, there is always a solution...the existing problem always works itself out. Here is what I was going through the other day: I answered a question with the following:

The next funeral I go to will be mine. I was going to do "it'' today.
I was so upset today, that I was crying so profusely while I was at my computer...I ran to my room and lay there crying, crying crying. because I did not want to live any longer. Then I got out of bed and a miracle happened...as I went to open my door, I turned to see my pigeon perched on my bed and I realized that he or she had been there beside me on my bed the whole time I was crying. Whenever I want to die, God shows me signs, usually with animals and birds. God works in mysterious ways. Seeing that bird in my room, on my bed, gave me a glimmer of hope.

Then someone emailed me to give me words of comfort and I thanked her and told her that I was glad that there were people like in the world her who cared.

Why didn't the sperm that made you ask that question? Yet, it defeated a million other sperms to get to the womb. Why doesn't any seed ask that question?

As a drop of rain travels from a spring to a river and into the ocean, its life's meaning is defined differently at each stage.

It is up to the individual to define his or her own purpose for living, whether it is to lead or to follow, to create or to destroy, to give or to take. No one's purpose can be devised by another.

I believe the purpose in life is to gain experience. We all come to this earth and are taught many lessons. We learn skills, develop talents, create with our minds and our thoughts, learn to deal with others and find out how to show love and feel emotions. We are faced with many trials and tribulations and learn to grow through these experiences. We learn to believe in principles, develop moral values and go through disappointments and grow from all of these things. I think that faith is a big part of many of our lives. We see the beauty of the world, we come to understand that God has created it all and we come to love and trust Him, to see His skills and to learn His will. Hopefully, we will learn to find our own place in this world and learn to find the talents we have been blessed with. I want to keep on learning so that is one reason to want to live. I want to experience all that I can and see all that is available to me. I want to touch lives and have them be a part of my life, as well. I want to make a difference in the world by being a part of my community and by helping my children become good and worthwhile adults. I have tried to do my part by teaching them values and giving them wings. I would hope that you would want to be a part of this wonderful thing called life and that you would want to go on living to find all of the beauty that this life has to offer.
