I am a die hard Yankees Fan and although I would love to see the Yankees win the division I dont think that they will. The Yankees have been very inconsistent the whole year, but I do think that the Yankees will win the wild card and as long as their in the playoffs thats all that matters. In the playoffs anything can happen and although I dont like the Red Sox there is nothing better than Yankees vs Red Sox in the playoffs.

The Red Sox have 18 home games left and 10 away. The Yankees only have 13 home and 15 away. Next Wednesday, the Yankees will have 7 home and 15 away - if They havent chiseled it down to 3 games or less by then, they're toast.

well the red sox are winning by 5 games they have 3 games Left with each other realistically it looks hard but I'm a fan i have faith in the Yankees i think before they play again in September and are less than 3 games behind them the Yankees have there own destiny in there hands

I don't think that they will catch them , but anything can happen. I'd like to see the Red Sox win it, I'm tired of all the Yankee this and Yankee that talk.

have a little faith the yankees will come back the sox are ready for the collapse it always starts with an august sweep theyll start to fall apart and then when the yankees come into boston a couple of weeks from now in a virtual tie i already checked the pitching matchups are pettitte vs beckett clemens vs schilling and wang vs wakefield well take at least two of those and then hold on for the division

No way the Yankees catch boston..............Yankees are gonna drop a few important games and give up their wildcard spot.......Detroit has Rogers and the Chef back so they are gonna start winning again and take the Wild Card

If Boston gets swept at fenway and/or start playing sloppy and the yankees continue playing well then the Yanks might take the east. Either way the 2nd place team will get the wild card.

Not me the Yankees are playing for the wild card and they may not win that. I hope that the Yankees do not make the playoffs
