that IS ridiculous. i say that its not really against the law, but im sure the teachers don't want you pissing in your pants in their classroom, so say its an emergency and go. im sure they'll understand. or, if push comes to shove, just walk out and go to the bathroom, and explain to the principal later if they try to write you up.

Unless they physically hold you down, it's not illegal. If you have a urinary problem you should tell your teachers, but otherwise I don't see why you need to go to the bathroom so much. I go to the bathroom maybe once in an entire school year during class time. I just hold it until gym class (where I have time to change out and then go), lunch, before, and after school. I can't imagine you need to go so many times that it exceeds four times per class for a year. Don't drink so much water.

When students leave the classroom it causes a disruption. They are not preventing you from leaving. You can leave more than 4 times, but you will get in trouble for it.

You need to find a way to go before your classes. Also, figure out how long it takes liquids to work their way through your system, and drink at times when it won't be inconvenient.

How long does class last anyway? If it is less than an hour, there is no reason for you to leave. If you have a valid medical problem, you need to see a doctor for treatment, and get a note. You can then get extra excuses.

Most classes last less than an hour with at least 5 minutes between classes. If you cannot control your bladder any longer than that, get a doctors slip. Slow down on liquid intake. You really need to get this condition fixed before you get into the working world.

I've often wondered about it. I do not think there are laws that state when you can/can not use the restroom. I think teachers are worried about classroom interruptions as well as you may miss something.

Ultimately, if you have to go, go.

You can go, its just you will lose a grade drop or something. Its illegal if anyone restricts you to do anything physically.

YEA I THINK THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO DENY STUDENTS TO THE BATHROOM. WHAT IF YOU HAVE A BLADER PROBLEM. AND IF YOUR A GIRL AND ITS THAT TIME OF THE MONTH YOU SHOULD DEFFINATLY BE ABLE TO GO. AND IF YOU JUST WALK OUT YOU SHOULDNT GET IN TROUBLE. ITS YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO THE BATH ROOM WHEN YOU NEED TO GO.
