Check out all of the questions concerning all of the civil rights and privacy we have already allegedly lost because of the events of 9/11 - now imagine how many rights you would have left if we were trying to avert further Islamic militant attacks on our own shore instead of fighting them on their own turf.
There is no question that sustained terrorists' attacks within this country would result in complete chaos and possible intrusion into all of our rights in an effort to gather intelligence to try and avert further attacks.
The USA isn't weak - that's why we are confronting these dirt bags who pride themselves on slaughtering defenseless men, women and children. Perhaps you feel we should revert back to our policies of no effective response and ignore them? You remember, the anti-war, pacifist, diplomacy policies that culminated in the events of 9/11. When a group can slaughter innocent infidels with impunity, it is only inevitable that they will fester and grow and their attacks will become more devastating.

We're weak because we no longer have any guts. We've allowed political correctness to strip us of any clout we may have had. The media and the general morons have no backbone. Once a lib is elected watch the terror begin.

I've been trying to make this point to them for years, but they won't admit that their claim that there is any possibility that terrorists would ever be able to take over this country shows an utter lack of faith in our military.
