Randy Moss was better but T.O. aged better because he stayed in better shape.

Whoever said every expert would say TO is on crack. Moss had more yards and TDs in his first 5 years than any receiver in history. If he hadn't have been such a head case and got bounced to the purgatory of Oakland, theres no telling where his numbers would have been right now. T.O is famous for doing the samething. He had more TDs than games in Philly, but for some reason couldn't handle the fact that its Donovan's team so he lost his mind.

To be perfectly honest though, I'd take Marvin Harrison over either. Just as dangerous with none of the hassles.

It's hard to tell right now, since Moss hasn't played to his full potential since he left Minnesota. There are arguments on both sides:

Randy Moss, at least by combine data, is taller and faster than Terrel Owens.

Last season TO led the league in receiving touchdowns. However, TO also led the league in drops.

It's kind of an unfair comparison, because in the past couple of years not only has TO had a better quarterback (Donavon McNabb/ Tony Romo) but he has had a really good running/other receiver distraction as well. In philiadelphia he had Byron Westbrook in the backfield and Donte Stallworth on the other side of the field. In Dallas, he has Julius Jones, Marion Barber, Jason Witten, and Terry Glenn. In oakland Randy Moss has... ummm.. no one.

Terrell Owens in my opinion is all around the best receiver in the NFL rightnow. Yeah there are greates like Harrison, C. Johnson, and S. Smith but Terrell Owens is the one receiver that no matter what will always draw coverage and can just get the job done no matter what. He's never really had that great of a QB except his short stint with McNabb in Philly yet has always gotten the job done and looked great doing it. Thats just my opinion.

Terrel owens because of last year i think TO had a better year Randy Moss wasnt happy with the way the raiders performed TO has also had trouble with teams but it was because he didnt like mcNabb so i think TO has the adavantage against Moss he probably will be better this year and moss it aint goin to work out with tom ......

It depends Randy Moss makes those insane deep one handed corner of the goal catches. Terrell Owens makes some pretty sick physical catches deep in traffic.

But in a perfect offense Jerry Rice is receiver 1 and Marvin Harrison reciever 2

Thats really tough. Moss is a great fast route runner. You can't coach speed and hands.
TO is a strong tough mother. He is one of the hardest receivers to bring down. You can't coach size. I mean even with a busted hand he led the league in TD receptions.

T.O. hands down is the better. he has carried the title of most receptions for a couple of years now even with all the drops. That was with a broke finger and after a surgery on his finger. He will break records again this year. moss is a big mouth who cant back it up T.O. can and does!

randy moss

although both were diseases on their teams, TO was far worse. TO managed to destroy his teams (SF, Phi), while moss basically just quit when his team wasnt winning. moss is faster and has by far better hands than what TO has. TO can break tackles, but moss will run right by you or will jump right over you catching the ball.
