Well, I prefer the original 3-person line-up. I heard about the Ace of Spades coming out, when I was in high school. It was about the same sort of time when John Bonham & Bonn Scott had died, so things were pretty depressing.
I have an unusual favourite song though - Please don't touch, performed with Girlschool. I think it was on an EP, with the B side being Motorhead doing the Girlschool number "Race with the Devil" and Girlschool doing Bomber.
The EP came out at the time of the Pain in the Neck tour 1 date in Sheffield & 2 at the Queens Hall Leeds (I went to the first of these 2 nights).
Philthy Phil had fallen down some stairs (allegedly) and injured his neck (hence the tour name). I still have the tour tshirt - but it's a medium & I now wear an XL.
If you are a REAL fan, Sam Gopal have a CD out called Escalator http://www.amazon.com/Escalator-Sam-Gopal/dp/B00004RJJF which was the only record they made. This was a short-lived band that Lemmy was in after he was ejected from Hawkwind and before he formed Motorhead. Strangely this CD is real psychadelic music - not metal at all. I think the band was called Sam Gopal Dream on the original vinyl.
Last thing - I had my fingers stood on by Dave Brock of Hawkwind at a live show in the Students Union at Loughborough University.
P.S. Conversation from the Airheads movie -
[Chazz and Rex are testing Chris]
Chazz: Who'd win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?
Chris Moore: Lemmy.
[Rex imitates a game show buzzer]
Chris Moore: ... God?
Rex: Wrong, ********, trick question. Lemmy *IS* God.

I dunno about 10, but I can do at least 8.
1. Ace of Spades
2. God Save the Queen (Sex Pistols cover, features SP singer and guitarist Johnny Rotten on guitar)
3. Bomber
4. Overkill
5. Motorhead (I actually prefer the live version from No Remorse; the bass sounds so much better.)
6. The Game (very close to thrash)
7. Damage Case
8. Louie Louie (one of seven trillion versions of it)
Bassist and lead singer Lemmy (Ian Kilmister) is the only constant member of the band, which seems to undergo a semi-annual lineup change. The "classic" lineup consisted of Lemmy, guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke, and drummer "Philthy Animal" Taylor, who played on Motorhead's biggest album, Ace of Spades.
Also, the seemingly unlikely cover of "God Save the Queen" (a metal band covering the Sex Pistols?) came about because Lemmy worked with late SP bassist Sid Vicious, who was selling LSD at Hawkwind (Lemmy's first popular band) concerts at around 13. When Vicious joined/started the Sex Pistols, he told Lemmy, "I can't play bass." Lemmy then said, "I know."
Enjoy.
