"O infinite work that doth so far extend
That none can study it to any end."

Talents are equally matched by our lack of abilities. It is when we take pride in our talents that we risk pride and arrogance.

Be grateful for that which comes easily to you, recognizing at the same time that there are many who can do things that you cannot without blinking an eye.

And exercise caution in how we judge those who do not have the same talents that we do have.

Sure there are...

Can you balance your checkbook?

Can you make an 18 layer Wedding cake on three tiers with champagne bridges between them?

Can you recite the Ten Commandments from memory and give true life examples of their not being followed?

Can you improvise a solution for a lack of electrical power and lighting filament when the power goes out on your nuclear submarine at 1000 ft. down?

Can you devise a method to calculate the reasonable survival rate of the human species when a meteor with a diameter of 1.637 miles impacts the earth directly on the equator in Africa?

Can you define the "universe" and give three examples?

Well, let me know when you conquer these and we will come up with a few more.

g-day!

You´re right.
The only end to ones talents is ones death.
There is unlimited source of inspiration.
If you want excell in whatever field, just look around for inspiration.
To be able to absorb inspiration is a talent.

I'm sure there are many things that you can do well where others cannot.

I am also certain that you have your own limits, and don't think you are better than everyone because people are all equal and everyone has their own unique talents which make them who they are. There is an end to your talents, and I'm sure you know that. You just don't like to believe it.

Talents are gifts from above. Everyone has one although some don't realize it that easy. What ever your talent is, preserve it and make it grow. Don't lose it within criticisms. Humbly do well with it, and be proud of its products.

And make sure you thank the One who has given you your talent.

Are you referring to the ancient unit of coins mentioned in Jesus's Parable of the Talents?

I don't know how wealthy you are, but I guess there must be an end to your store of these particular coins.
