Why does an image appear backwards when you look through a microscope? Is the object magnified from UNDERNEATH the object or is it something else? Please help me! Thank You!

because of light refraction the image is inverted example backwards "E" on slide appears correctly whenyo look through the eyepiece at object the lens and eyepiece magnify example lens on 10 eyepiece on 10 x you havemagnified image 100 times thi of it like this when you look in rearview mirrow when driving a car behind you license plate is backwards but i you turn around and look the plate is correct--the way we read in usa did you ever see a vehicle for a company that on front of vehicle the letters and or name was backwards when loking at letters or name striht on but if you looked at letters or name threw your rearview mirrow the word or name was clear???? basicallly the i mage if "flipped" when gazing in mirror or microcope goodluck i hoped i helped you
