Why do Yankee fans think saying that they have 27 championships makes them any better considering.............

yankees havent won a world series in a long time? ha 2000 isnt that long ago fools. when was the last time your team won one. mets 1986 thats long ago. boston 1918,2004,2093 probably. go yanks.

the yankees haven't won a championship in quite some time and haven't figured out how to get around the ANGELS
yet. remember the angels own the yankees.the yanks would rather face boston than the angels but by the same token
boston can beat the angels. when the yanks and angels met the yanks get a lesson on team ball. boston has the best record in the AL and the angels are 2nd in the AL.
both teams have great pitching and the yankees just demoted mussina to the bullpen after the angels shelled
him for 16 runs 10 of them by garret anderson. so as long as the yankees have to play the angels before boston
the yankees might as well get their vacation plans going.

I don't know. They're still 5 games back. They've still got to fight for their lives JUST to think about playing in October. They can take their 26 rings and shove them up their ***.

THink about this for a minute. Wouldn't it be SO cool if there was a team that had a salary that was 100 Million dollars higher than everyone else's? And wouldn't it be beyond funny to see that team not even make it to the playoffs?

And Yankee Fans pay attention..... How's it going to feel in November when A-rod cashes in on the season he's having and signs (And I hate saying this, because I think A-rod is a piece of crap, cheap player (Remember him swatting the ball out of Arroyo's hand, Hip checking Dustin Pedroia, and yelling "I got it as he ran between the SS, and 3B in that game.) with the Redsox?

Every other teams fans would say it too if they had that many. It doesnt matter if they played for those teams or not, as long as your a fan. If your team wins, u would say "my team won the world series" which from your statement would be incorrect because u didnt play for them. Another reason i believe it is said so much is because the next closest is 10 (cardinals) and they are so far away.

Whenever some Yankee fan, or White Sox fan in my case, says something like that all I say is what have you done this year. The Yankees won't hold up in the playoffs anyways if they even get there, they won't score 5 runs a night.

well many people i know when they talk about their team they say example we , us we including my self say that because as a fan you watch all the games stick with them tick and thin as i at least consider my self as part of team because we support the team and are their for them 100 % bad and good and the Yankees have won 26 ws hopefully 27 this October
