Many western countries teach their youth about methods of contraception and safe sex which stay with them as they enter adulthood/marriage, however Middle Eastern countries do not get educated about sex in any way. They're not aware or informed about topics such as safe sex, STI's or methods of contraception so with their knowledge being practically null they don't even know they can access resources to assist in the prevention & planning of pregnancy. Also, the majority of middle eastern countries are religous (Muslim) which encourages it's followers to "be fruitful" & have an abundancy of children. So for these 2 reasons their access to birth control is very limited and not as encouraged as it is in westernized countries.

Lack of birth control education, lots ofchildren are needed to care for them in their old age, etc are all good explanations. However, think about their day to day lives -- Women are not allowed to go out anywhere without a male family member escort, not allowed to read books, not allowed to attend institutions of higher education, not allowed to work outside the home, shopping is only for cooking supplies, not allowed to have any money of their own, not allowed to travel unless escorted by male family member, not allowed to watch anything but state and/or male approved tv shows, videos, dvds etc ---- all activities are centered around cooking, worship, and seeing to the needs of the men in their family first and the needs of the children second. So the only activity they are allowed that might possibly be entertaining is making more babies ...

Because their husbands don't have Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions, they have lots of sand traps but no greens for golf, no NFL/AFL, no AL/NL baseball, their women wear grain sacks for clothes, they barbeque goat fillets over camel poop fires so all they can do is have sex and beget children. What a life...no wonder they are happy to blow themselves up!!

Simple. Less access to birth control and religious beliefs that preclude the use of birth control. Also, in agricultural based countries and communities, more children are had so they can work and support the parents in old age.

because the men want a lot of sons so they keep trying to have sons....i watched this video and they go as far as putting all of the girls up for adoption or killing them as soon as they are born...

they don't work, the men are patriarchal and they want their wives to not supersede them in any manner and so they pop babies and sh*g like bunnies. thats a generalization, luv.
