lol. i was wondering the same thing! it seemed like i heard this question every day a week ago, now nobody asks it anymore!

There are 20 or more questions about this here in Yahoo alone. The green dots indicate that the helmet contains communication equipment for receiving the plays from the sideline.

that means that that player has a headset you cant have more than one person with a headset or with a green dot on the field at a time

We all figured out that it was for the player with the in helmet headset.

r u kidding? i see this question everyday!!! its because they have the mic in their helmets or whatever it is that they communicate with coaches during game!!!
