sort the bills and change out carefully before placing it in your wallet. (I am guilty of the former because somedays you get a nice surprise when you put your hand in your pocket and pull out a $20!)

I am a little anal. I like to organize mine by denomination with all of the bills facing the same way. Someone please save me from myself...

I sort my bills out from the highest bill to the lowest bill. Then I fold them once or twice depending on the space I have to put them. If I'm in a rush I'll just shove them in my purse or wad them in my hand til I can safely put it in my pocket without dropping any of it.
And I kind of got a obsession with putting the bills face up and all of them facing the same direction. I think the reason why I sort them is because I hate to see someone fidgeting and trying to find money when they should have had it ready already. if you knew you were going to buy something then you should have had it in your hand and ready to give to the person.

It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm running out and don't feel like carrying a purse, I'll shove some money in my pocket. Otherwise the bills and change get put in my wallet.

Depends on how much time I have. If I can sort it all out and put it in my wallet, but if I'm going somewhere quickly I'll just shove the wad (very deep down!!) in my pocket

I keep my money in order, and also place a few bills where i normally don't reach for money (my back up). My Husband wads it into his pocket, and has lost money pulling out the wad of cash not knowing every thing that is coming out of his pocket.

I fold it up and put it in my wallet, if I have any money, usually I use my card though. If I receive money in the form of change of will typically wad it then and shove it in my purse until I get to the car.

I wad it up and put it in my pocket if I'm in a hurry to do something, but if I have a wallet then I'll place it in there.

Well, I have a very small purse and I do carefully fold the bills up but I do not care what order they are in. When getting change I just fold and shove it in.

Oh my goodness no, I used to work at a bank, and the money has to be facing the same direction, in order of highest to lowest bills. Of course, I will spend the "yucky" bills first & keep the nicest, crispest bills. Change goes in the change purse or the change jar in the kitchen at the end of the day.

I think I wad up my money because I do not sort it out or anything, but I do have an estimate of what I have in that wad.
