I need to make a stockpile of ornaments for this year's xmas tree and I am having trouble finding patterns for things like beaded dragonflies, spiders, butterflies, flowers lady bugs and so on. Please help! Any patterns are appreciated!

A few years ago Beadstyle magazine had a huge issue on how to make creatures w/ swarovski crystals.

You can usually get back issues. It was from a few years ago. Their web site usually has information on lots of topics.

Another idea is to just start playing w/ your wire & beads so you can create your own styles & be famous! :)

I know the Oriental Trading Company (use Google to find their web address) sells kits for these types of critters. You could purchase a kit and keep the patterns that come with it. Buy more supplies when the kit's supplies run out, of course.

Otherwise, all I can say is try Google. (Go to www.google.com and type something like "beading pattern dragonfly free" into the search box, hit enter, and sort through what you find.) If you already have done that, I don't know what else to recommend.

You haven't done a web search, have you? Just enter a search for " free ( enter what you want )beaded pattern instructions. you will be amazed what is offered out there. Make sure you find the instructions for the Christmas Spider. It has a wonderful story that goes with it..
