I used to do the meal thing and flowers. I also used to tell her how beautiful she was when she leasted expected it. She used to blush so cute! When she was cooking or doing something else in the house, I would sneak up behind her and nuzzle her neck and tell her I loved her for life. She has been gone almost 5 years now and I haven't had the heart to date anyone else.

Learn her love language. We all have love a love language, sometimes more than one.
1) words of affirmation (you are beautiful, a great cook, ....
2) physical touch (hugs, holding hands, .......
3) acts of service (wash her car, take out trash,......
4) quality time (Nice dinner for two, long walk, .......
5) recieving gifts (flowers, jewelry, .......
When you learn her love language and are able to meet that need, you will keep her love tank full! : D

I have a friend who's husband put an ad in the paper that was only addressed to her first name and said something like "You are the light of my life" or something corny like that and signed it with her nickname for him-- this made her glow and not as expensive as a dinner/movie etc...--it will give her something to look back on as well-I promise, she will never forget it

A home cooked meal (and not just steak and veg spice it up) , a bunch of my favourite flowers , candles , romantic music and a massage followed by I Love You.
