The rules are simple; if you any make money, you have to pay child support. If, due to changes in your income, you are having a difficult time making ends meet because of your child support payments, you can go before the judge and ask the the amount be recalculated based on your current earnings. Note: just because you have additional expenses (such as new family to support) is not going to get the child support payments lowered; you will have to prove your income has dropped.
Otherwise you are stuck with the payments until the children become adults. You will also be stuck paying until all back child support payments are paid.

In many states, a healthy (non-disabled) child who graduates from high school and has turned 18 is no longer the subject of support. But, your support orders might require you to continue support of some sort through college. If your child has a disability, the rules may be different.
Yout death does not necessarily end your obligation; in some states you are obligated to have sufficient life insurance to pay all the rest you will owe, in case you die.
Pay the child support.

IF THE CHILD IS NOT YOURS AND YOU KNOW THAT FOR A FACT YOU CAN TAKE A DNA TEST. AND YOU PLAN ON NOT SEEIN THE KID OR SUPPORTING IT AT ALL. BUT IF YOUR GONNA STICK AROUND AND CARE FOR THE CHILD AS IF IT WAS YOURS AND YOUR NOT GONNA BE WIT THE MOM YOU SHOULD PROVIDE MONEY FOR THE CHILD. THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT OF PAYIN CHILD SUPPRT IS IF YOUR NOT THE DAD AND IF YOUR WILLING TO GIVE UP all your right to the child.

You need to check out the laws in the state where you live. Like everything else, laws in most states are different on just about everything.
