I believe; that all mankind, when led to the after-life, will suffer in eternal fire. For if they are evil on earth, they will suffer. If they are not evil on earth, they will not suffer in the after-life. My question refers to other relegious beliefs on this matter of death and the after-life. Do they believe as I?

Gods are like snowflakes, no two are exactly the same. If there really was one god, then there would only be one religion, with no denominations. Of course everyone believes that THEIR god is the right (and only) one, that follows from their believing in it in the first place.

Being an atheist allows me to view religious beliefs from the outside in an objective, detached manner that's extremely difficult for anyone whose eyes are tinted by religion. And what I've seen is that the religious beliefs a person holds are a remarkably similar analogy to that person's own beliefs and personality.

For instance, people who think that their god loves even gay people, are themselves highly tolerant of homosexuality; while those who believe that god sends gays to hell to suffer eternally tend to also be quite intolerant of homosexuality.

In your case, the fact that you seem to believe that most people are going to hell to suffer for eternity paints a picture that you believe that humanity is evil, flawed, and/or stained. Others, who believe that most people make it into heaven, tend to view their fellow humans on a lighter note.

I could discuss the theological and ethical implications of an eternally wrathful god, but most believers tend to be pretty set in their beliefs. Personally I think that any god that can stay cruel and angry for eternity is not a god worthy of worship, but hey, I'm just an atheist.

I am atheist, so I believe that when you die, despite the way you've spent your time on this planet, you start to decay and become worm food. The circle of life.
