There are very few options for discounted tickets for a one day pass. The parks don't make their money from your admission, they make the most money from what people buy and do inside the parks. Food, souvenirs, etc. are all what is the biggest profit for them. So, they offer discounts for the extended passes so that you go to the parks more and/or stay at their resorts longer. So, you aren't going to be able to find any discounts for the parks for single day admission.
A one day pass for Disney World is: Adult $75.62 Child $63.90, this includes the tax, but is a base ticket. A two day pass is a very slight savings, and is Adult $148.04 Child $124.61, again including tax, but not hopping or anything. Since it looks like you are only going for one day, the hopping option probably won't be worth it for you. That costs $47.93 per person. Basically, it allows you to go to more than one park in a day. Otherwise, you have to stay at the same park, but come and go to that park as you please, that day. Unless you are planning to go to Animal Kingdom or MGM, which are smaller and don't take as much time, the amount of time you will spend traveling between parks will take a lot away from what you can get done. Therefore, I don't think I would spend the extra for the hopping. Now, for $53.25 you can add on the water park and more option. That would give you one visit to the water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports. Ticket prices went up earlier this month and they also changed somethings. It used to be you would get a certain amount of visits based on the length of your pass, i.e. one day pass gave you three visits. This year you get the same amount of plus visits as the length of your pass, i.e. one day pass, one plus visit, two day pass, two plus visits, and so on. So, that may give you some more options, but save you money over getting another pass, if you plan to get a longer pass. .
Disney doesn't offer as good of savings on their short passes, they offer the better prices on their longer passes and the two day pass really doesn't offer any savings either.
Since prices changed they made a lot of changes, you used to could save a little money by buying longer passes in advance, but that is no longer true.
There are a lot of different options to choose from, so it really just depends on what you are wanting. Also, this is just for Disney World, in Orlando Florida, you mentioned Disney parks so I assume you are referring to the parks in Florida and not the parks around the world. If you are referring to parks outside of Orlando the prices are different.
Hope this helps!

Check ticket prices, which change now and them at www.disney.go.com The more days you buy the cheaper they get per day. Also if you book a package through Disney and stay on Disney property your park admission gets pretty cheap the longer you stay. As stated they make their money off everything your going to buy, not your ticket to the park.

Tickets to any of the Disney parks are about $70.00 to $75.00. You could try with the Triple AAA to see if you can get a discount.

Here's a great link. It shows you all your options and their prices. http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm#top
One-day, one-park ticket is $75.62. But if you buy a multi-day ticket, it is cheaper per day.
