First of all, I want to thank you for you military service. Not enough people want to do that. I spent my time in the Air Force. Second, I have become more dissenchanted with the way our fine country has been run under Bush. More jobs are sent overseas for cheap labor. More people are defaulting on home loans/credit cards. Gas prices at $3, what will be next? Our civil liberties are going away little by little in the name of protection I don't think any of it is right.

The thing about the Bush derangement syndrome is that its victims fail to specify to me what Bush lied about.Lets backtrack a bit. This will be a long and difficult fight. That turned out to be true.WMD's.How blind are you? When we went into Afghanistan Saddam knew he was next.He had two years to plan this, and its not hard to bury these weapons in the middle of the desert.Besides,if he's the liar you claim he is then how come he didn't plant any chemical weapons in Iraq after we ousted Saddam. And about the wire tapping, they are only doing this to suspected terrorists so what do you have to worry about besides,if they mistake you for a terrorist just imagine how stupid you can make them look.As for monitoring international e-mails,NEWSFLASH.If its on the Internet, its not private.

EDIT:
Then what was the reason for going in to Iraq, and before you say it was because of oil then you might want to do some more backtracking.I did not hear anyone screaming no blood for oil until Saddam started saying that the U.S. is only after the oil.You can call me weak minded for taking Bush's word but I think you have to be down right stupid for taking Saddam's word.Hell,I'll even take Hillary Clinton's word before Saddam's.So I will ask you one more time. What lie did Bush tell us in order to get us to go to war With Iraq? What was the issue? And please,No more dancing around the question,or giving half a** liberal answers.

DOC
I agree with most of what you're saying.
But with all due respect, the U.S. didn't sell any WMD technology to Saddam. The East Germans are the one's who provided them with that technology. The U.S. only provided conventional weaponry. The U.S. would have wanted Iraq and Iran to keep fighting each other to prevent either side from spreading their influence on the middle east. That's why we would have never sold them that kind of technology.

Bush and his administration is based one lie they are thinking like Hitler's Information Minister Globe... One day Bush must pay to his own nation and to the rest of the civilized world for lies he is telling about Muslims in particular. One day may come when people will address Bush as elder brother of Laden.

Ignore the first responder, she's in a different paradigm. She fails to understand the concept of "probable cause" and its use in law enforcement. She also doesn't have a clue when it comes to personal responsibility (Katrina). The only reason those slobs in new orleans (lower case with great intent -- it's more than they deserve -- REALLY!), should have done as the rest of us had to do when we got wiped out by a hurricane (Ivan). It's called "Insurance" and "Work." But*sigh* what the hell? When you've had nothing but hand outs from the federal government all of your life, your momma's life and her momma's life, it's kind of hard to realize that the rest of America actually has to work for what they get. So much for the great social programs the democrats shove down our throats.
Still, I can't help but wonder how many of those who protested the war in Vietnam are now willing to own up to the million or so deaths and tortures inflicted on our friends when we did the gutless thing and pulled out. Kind of made all of our deaths meaningless and worthless.
So, did Bush lie? What about those WMD? You'll have to back up a bit to the Carter administration. Carter gutted the CIA and left this country blind on intel. Our best operatives were all throw backs from WW II. Carter's gutting, bled us dry. No fresh blood, no eyes to see. Then came Reagan. Remember Ray Gun Reagan? He sold WMD technology to Iraq. We also helped Osama fight the Russians... Hmmm. So, Saddam used what we sold him to gas the Kurds and the Iranians. Was there a real and plausable threat? Iran and Iraq were at war with one another and any ship passing through the region was a potential target. Reagan reflagged all of the foreign tankers and provided with a U.S. Navy escort. Why? Because the world economy runs on oil. Why did Saddam then invade Kuwait? Oil and a seaport. Who's job should it have been to man up and push Iraq back? The U.S. lead coalition? No! It SHOULD have been the U.N.s. How'd the first Gulf War (AKA Desert Storm) end? A U.N. sanctioned/brokered cease fire agreement ended the hostilities. And then along came Slick Willie. Ol' bill was too busy to do anything more than just utilize the Navy and Marine Air Wings to shutdown any Iraqi radar sites that came up. So, what about those pesky U.N. Weapons Inspectors? The first one resigned. He got no support from either the U.N. or Slick Willie. Did Saddam have WMD? Who knows? The inspection teams were given the jerk around for a week or two before they were allowed to look. What about the Food For Oil program? The French, Russians and Germans were all accepting bribes from Saddam. Hmmm. Does any of this ring a bell? So, the months of diplomacy and trying to negotiate were a waste. The U.N. was exposed as being corrupt. No damned wonder Saddam didn't take young George seriously. Congress was shown what ws believed to be credible intel -- through German intellegence, we were never actually allowed to talk to the Iraqi Chemical Engineer directly, and voted. Everyone -- even John Kerry, Murtha and Hillary Clinton were excited... Were you aware that we unearthed an entire squadron of MiG 29s? Buried in the sand... Hmmm, WMD? Like searching for a needle in a hay stack. And the war went exceedingly well. Things quieted down to a degree and then came time for their first "free" elections. Suddenly, as the date grew near, suicide bombers. But from Where? Iran! Why? because Iran needs oil. They haven't been able to export a single drop in over three years. They sit atop the worlds' third largest deposit. What happened? Mismanagement. Their wells are now all over 50 years old and in a rate of decline of 13% a year. They only charge 38 cents a gallon at the pumps. They consume more than they pupmp out of the ground. Last year, they actually had to IMPORT! So, who stands to gain the most by destabilizing Iraq? Iran. Who announced two days ago that they are ready to step in and fill the vacuum when America leaves Iraq? Iran. Who congratulated the U.S. citizens for having voted in the democrats the day after the November elections? Iran. Phuqing amazing. Isn't it?
So, was I attacking the first responder personally? No. Just the glue sniffing ideology she's perveing. It's time to grow up people. Time to take a little responsibility for the mess. Or, you can just bury your head in the sand, keep listening to those genius spin doctors who keep changing their story line and do another line of coke. Your call.
