8 km/h. 8km. For your first question speed = distance/ time. 4km x .5 hr = 8km/h. 2.) He is running 8km every hour. If he runs for one hour at the constant speed of 8km/h then he has run 8km.

average speed = distance/time = 4 km/30 min = 4 km/0.5 hrs = 8 km/hr

d(t=1 hour) = 8 km/hr * 1 hr = 8 km
