Those are tattooed Parrot Cichlids. As Lil'Missfortune said, they are injected with dyes to create the Japanese characters. This is very stressful for the fish, and many do not survive. DO NOT BUY THESE FISH! It should be animal cruelty, but somehow, it is legal.

EDIT: Unfortunately, it isn't a Flowerhorn, it is a Parrot Cichlid... http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Cichlid,%20Red%20Parrot.htm The only difference is the cruel tattooing.

EDIT: Thank you!

EDIT 2: What do you mean, "they don't have the tatoo?" The picture clearly shows that they do have a tattoo... are you talking about your fish in particular that don't have a tattoo?

Its a parrot fish thats been tortured. Its a painted fish. meaningh they tatto ink into their skin and leads to an early death. Dont buy those fish. IT encourages the salespeople to dye more. But the fish is just a parrot fish

Edit. TO nosoup: yeah i realized that after i changed it to parrot fish again. my bad

Those fish are injected with dye to create Chinese/Japanese characters. Do not buy them because they have been tortured to have dye injected underneath their skin. It is probably illegal anyway. The fish in the lower right are goldfish, if you care.

EDIT: Without the tattoo, they are Parrot Cichlids.
