Yes..

2) Is your pet micro chipped?
Not Yet.. (they only do it on Saturday's.. when I'm working) But, I do plan on it..

3) What are your views on animal cruelty?
Not enough time or space for this answer.. (I'm at work).. let's just say, if I could I'd say we should start doing whatever was done to the animal to the person that did it.. maybe then they'd figure it out.

4) Have you seen or heard of any type of animal abuse? If so what?
Not physical abuse.. but a roomate of mine asked another roomate to feed his iguana .. I watched.. not once in 5 months did she do it.. (I did it myself after I noticed her not doing it the first day.. I knew exactly how much of the turtles food was there) She didn't like it.. so figured she'd kill it, and he'd never figure it out.. (he didn't believe me when I told him later)

another event: The mayor decided that a house was going to be torn down.. an older man was living there with 6 pets.. they arrested the guy who was on his porch.. they had NUMEROUS people trying to get permission to go in and get the animals.. (all the neighbors knew them) but the mayor told them to knock it down.. killing the helpless animals inside. .. and nothing was done about it.. not ONE thing...

I already stated this.. if they had to worry about going through the type of abuse, they'd think twice..

available?.. no.. nothing available works..

Good question, but honestly.. the people doing it don't CARE..

Not having a collar is neglect, not cruelty.. and to be fair.. if there is no collar and they run off.. they can't get an embedded collar.. which is one of the most painful things I can think about.. Starving is tied however.. that's a painful way to die..

That's a really detailed question.. I know the basic idea of what is considered negligent, verses what is considered abuse.. I know that the laws really depend on where you live.. and who you are..

Cat, yes. Dog, yes. Bird, no.

It's cruel, unjust and morally and ethically wrong. Without sounding like a tree-hugging animal nut, I think anyone who is cruel to an animal should be punished with jail-time, heavy fines and public humiliation.

My friend's dad was telling us how he used to stick firecrackers in cat's anuses to kill them.

Severe penalties-- hefty fines, jail-time, public humiliation.
But also education programs.

5) What do you think can be done to help stop animal abuse? Lots of things. Spaying/neutering to avoid so many abandoned/ feral pets would be a huge start

i think that it's wrong to blame and ban animals like the pit bull, (their ban in dayde county flordia) blame their idiotic owners. i LOVE pitbuls! when i get out of collage i want a bulldog and pit bull
