What fairytale would you do and how would you start it off? any advice is welcomed. thanks !

Many fairy tales already have several different versions. Possibly write a modern day version of some fairy tale, such as a modern Little Red Riding Hood or a fisherman's version of Cinderella or something like that.

You could rewrite Snow White. Start with 15 Dwarfs, and tell about how they disappear mysteriously, one by one. Then, when it's down to just eight, suspicion falls on Hungry.....

Cinderella or Snow White
In Snow White you could make 7 little women dwarfs instead......Snow White could be a man....or someone older......there could be a poisoned pie instead.
