i know that not every black man under age 25 gets a grill. that WOULD be a complete generalization. I said, the ones who want to be rappers most of the time get them. And also, i understand that some of the grills are removable, but some of them arent, and when they get older and are working other jobs other than the rap game, it doesnt look good at all. Im a registered nurse and I work with a guy who is also a registered nurse who just happens to have a gold grill and twists. he did this when he was young and wild and didnt take the time to think through his decision before he did this. he's a very nice guy and a good nurse. however, that is so unprofessional looking and he's actually trying to have it removed. he feels that it impedes his efforts in trying to get accepted into the nurse anesthetist program. oh, and for all you who called me a white girl, im black!

It's like tattoos and piercings- lots of people don't think through the consequences before they get a prominent tattoo or pierce their face 14 times.
I'm willing to bet, that just like tattoos and pirecings, his grillz can be removed, but it will be expensive, more than getting them in the first place.

Grills are stupid in my opinion and very unnecessary. The people who do waste their money on them need to rethink their priorities and spend their money a little better. I don't care if its a nurse, a doctor, or a pimp. People don't need grills.
