I'm afraid that if I sync my itunes all the songs in my library will go to my ipod. How do I put only the songs I want on my ipod? I managed to put playlists on but that's it.

Put all the songs you want to have on your ipod into a play list and only allow that playlist.

Yes, synching your itunes will make your ipod the same as your library. You can just drag which songs you want into your ipod instead.

Yes, it will take all the songs off your ipod and put all the songs in your library on your ipod. its easier to me to highlight all the songs i want then draging it to my ipod icon. FYI you can highlight multiple items by left clicking on the 1st song, holding shift, letting go of the mouse, then clicking on the last song then letting go of shift . you drag that whole thing to your ipod.

There is a little box in front of your list of songs. Uncheck the ones you don't want synced.
