I miss Jerry Garcia. Hardly a day goes by I don't think of him and usually with a tear in mine eye.

If it's someone you've never met, then I'd say you miss the image you've conjured up of that person. Because, no, it's not possible to miss someone you don't even know.

I think so. I have a few friends on line that I've never met. I miss them when we haven't chatted for a while.

yup.i had a HUGE crush on a guy when i was younger and i never talked to him,so i don't know him.And at times i miss him :(
