I try to be a gentleman, but I'm not always; I'm less likely to be a gentleman if I'm dealing with a woman / women who take it as a given that I should be a gentleman no matter what, or no matter how she/ they act.

I would let my wife answer this but I can say that I try to act like my father acted when he was alive.
He was a true gentleman.

for a lady yes but when with the bros or guys i can be just a crazy 15 year old that loves to rock out at rammstein blink 182 off spring drop kick murphys metallica .... but when its time there is some thing called manners and learn from your elders not be stubborn punk

I try to be courteous and polite with everyone, but when it comes to mannerism and proper etiquette I am no gentleman.
