"Truth is that which conforms to reality, fact, or actuality." At least, that is how it is defined. However, truth is much more complex. Truth is not error. Truth is not self-contradictory. Truth is not deception. Truth conforms to reality. That's the easy part...here is the complex. Your reality may be much different from my own. There is truth...the sun rises, it rains, grass grows...then there is "truth" ...I believe in euthanasia, it is my truth. I believe in choice, it is my truth. It may not be your truth.
It all comes to this...you, in your own mind, must decide what is true. By examining, pondering, proving, testing, truth will show itself.

Truth is an impediment to human evolution.

It was true for a very long time that everything revolved around the Earth. As a result, science and new thinking was limited by believing this truth.

At the time, everyone KNEW that they had the truth. As we know today, the truth was false.

Truth is knowing there is one but unable to attain it. Because once you attain the truth, you realize it's no longer one.

It's like the famous Michelangelo's fresco on the ceiling of Sistine chapel of God and Adam. The half an inch gap between the tip of the finger of God and the tip of the finger of Adam... that's the truth... the gap...

TRUTH is the objective reality at the present time.....in another moment or span of time, the truth may change as the realities change.

Truth is abosolute reality, everything in its entirety. When someone asks you for the truth, they don't want the truth, they want a portion of it.
